You may catch the local bus at the gate. Less than a minute's walk to the 4-way-stop on the public bus route to capital George Town. Fare around US$2.50.
Popular Cemetery Beach within walking distance. Cottage is close to the Square and a short walk to pharmacy, bank, restaurants, cafe, public beach, local shops and a supermarket. Churches are also nearby.
If you are not up to hopping the bus, a rental car is recommended for a leisurely tour of the entire island.
Come stay at our place and live like an islander. Blend in with the locals. Dress up or dress down. Flip-flops, barefoot, shorts, t-shirts no problem. Spot an iguana in the trees or grass. A chicken or rooster could show its face. A common sight in the island. Consequently some crowing might be heard in early mornings. Roosters served as alarm clocks in the good old days. For your convenience disposable earplugs are available which you are welcome to use and replace or bring along your own.
