Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location is on seven mile beach, very close to Camana Bay. A 3 km walk to George Town. It has a good size swimming pool with lots of lounging chairs right off the patio, it’s a ground unit. A very quiet resort with the beach being just steps away from your unit. The unit was very clean with a well stocked kitchen.. Tennis Rackets, beach chairs along with other beach paraphernalia are also supplied. We were pleasantly surprised with a welcome package which consisted of a rum cake, 2 cute cayman thermal cups and some additional snacks. The main bedroom has a noise machine which was a good touch seeing as the bedroom is right off the kitchen. The owners are exceptionally quick to respond if you have questions or issues that arise. It’s really nice to go and sit at the sea wall in the early morning enjoying a coffee or a glass of wine at night watching the sunset. The quality of the towels and sheets were very good . What the pictures show is accurate to how the unit looks.

Negative: We were last here in 2007 at that time the time the beach went out about 100 feet. The north beaches have degraded and are now very small. This resort is one that has been impacted, you can no longer just walk the whole seven mile beach. You have a short beach you can walk in width and length then you need to go to the road and walk to the public beach access after the underpass. If you are aware and good with that you won’t be disappointed. The unit is older and is in need of renovating. The pillows and bed covers need to be refreshed.
