Welcome to Plantation Village! The Plantation Village Beach Resort is located directly in the heart of 7 Mile Beach, and conveniently close to restaurants, shopping, bars, activities and water sports.
The resort consists of 70 condominiums in a tranquil, scenic setting. Highlights include the oceanfront freshwater pool plus an additional garden pool, snorkeling, kayaks, bikes, tennis and outdoor BBQ. Plantation Village #30 is a beautifully decorated and appointed 3rd floor - 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo designed to be your ideal vacation home on 7 Mile Beach.
The condo has an open floor plan with the living area opening out to the screened oceanfront lanai, for lounging, coffee, cocktails and entertaining. The comfy living area has seating for 6 and sports a large screen HDTV with cable and high speed wifi throughout. Enjoy the fully equipped modern kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, ice maker, oven, stove, microwave, blender, drip coffee maker and Keurig K cup coffee maker, wine glasses, cooking utensils, serving dishes, knife block and dinnerware for 6.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, TV w/cable and private bath with walk-in shower. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and the 3rd bedroom has two twin beds. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms share a full size bathroom. High quality bedding and plenty of towels ensure you are comfortable in all aspects.
Our guests have access to 2 freshwater pools, 2 grilling areas with large Weber gas grills, lighted tennis court, plenty of green and garden space, lounge and seating chairs at the pools as well as on the beach and pop up umbrellas at the pools and beach (please see beach summary below). The minimum rental age for the condo is 30 years old.
Please Note: The southern end of 7 Mile Beach has been experiencing ongoing migratory sand shifting and beach erosion. The properties south of Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort, including the hotel and Plantation Village, have been affected by this erosion at times during the year. This is a seasonal, cyclical and changing situation. Some weeks there is plenty of sand allowing guests to lounge on the beach, and at other times there is no sand.
Please be aware that there is a chance that the Plantation Village beach may not be present during your stay. There are free public beaches along the balance of 7 Mile Beach to frequent for sunbathing if the beach at the southern end is not hospitable. The water in front of Plantation Village continues to offer guests unparalleled snorkeling, sea kayaking and paddle boarding experiences whether the sand is present or not. We have discounted our reservation rates to take into consideration this beach issue.
For divers, there is an equipment rinse area and dive excursions can also be arranged. The resort is within a short walk of many excellent shops, restaurants, the post office, a bank, the cinema, bars, pubs, dive shops and duty free shopping.
A visit to Cayman isn't complete without a visit to Stingray City. Tour operators will pick you up at the condo to take you to Stingray City or Scuba Diving.
Also, within walking distance is Cayman's newest development, Camana Bay, where you will find the cinema, shops, restaurants, and a nice treat of ice cream or frozen yogurt.
Our condo is also on the bus route for easy access to downtown George Town, Hell and the Turtle Farm in West Bay. The closest supermarket is about a 15 minute walk or 3 minutes on the bus. Walk one way and bus home.
The Plantation Village Beach Resort is ideally situated on 7 Mile Beach and neighbors to several other highly popular vacation resort properties.
You are about a 10 minute cab ride from the Owen Roberts International airport. You can easily get around by walking, taking the public bus or renting a car for part or all of your stay, to be able to explore all of what Grand Cayman has to offer.

OnMondaymornings there is complimentary coffee and donuts by the beach. OnTuesdayevenings from 5:00 - 7:00 pm there is the Sunset Rum Punch Party, with local music, spicy local patties and West Indian Rum Punch. Please bring along an appetizer to share!
