It is located away from busy Seven Mile Beach, with a peaceful palm-lined cove directly out the back door and Rum Point Beach steps away from the front door. Whether you prefer to relax by the pool or on the beach, stroll in the sand or join the activities of Rum Point, we have it all.
Starboard Kai, with its high end furniture, features a lovely open concept living and dining area, an office / reading nook, fully-equipped kitchen, powder room, and a large, beautiful, 2 story screened-in lanai on the main floor. The lanai is furnished with wicker dining furniture as well as a relaxing conversation set. This will be one of your favourite places to spend time.
Two master bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet and private balcony, are located on the second floor. One ensuite has a walk-in shower and the other ensuite has a glass enclosed tub/shower. Both bedrooms boast very comfortable king beds. High quality linens, bath and beach towels are provided for your stay.
Starboard Kai has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. A lovely pool for the exclusive use of the guests of the Island Houses is located on the manicured tropical grounds, a short stroll across the beach from the lanai. Starboard Kai's two bikes, five kayaks (three singles and two doubles) provide unique ways to explore the area and its many beaches.
Tranquil Sand Pointe Cove, as well as the clear turquoise waters of Rum Point, provide amazing snorkeling venues. During the day take a wonderful trip to Stingray City or deep sea fishing through one of many local charter companies. They will pick you up at one of the two Island Houses' docks. Steps from your door at night, discover the rare bio-luminescence of the cove in your own kayak, provided for the exclusive use of Starboard Kai guests. Or if you prefer join a bio-luminescence excursion company which leaves directly across the street from our home.
A great selection* of casual and fine dining restaurants are nearby for those times you would rather not make use of the fully-equipped kitchen and dining facilities at Starboard Kai. (*Note: at time of writing a number of restaurants in Grand Cayman offer limited hours due to COVID. Some have closed temporarily)
