Our luxury NON SMOKING GROUND FLOOR condo is nestled in a tropical paradise on the shores of Cayman Kai, in the exclusive Rum Point area of Grand Cayman. Seventeen feet of glass doors face the water. Walk right out your back door and you are on the beach. Not the crowded beach on the tourist side of island but a quiet haven to relax and unwind yet close by to the activity of the local kaibo Yacht Club beach bar and restaurant. It is a short drive (the island is only 20 miles long) to town and unlimited activities and tourist adventures.
Park your chair under the palm trees or thatched-roofed gazebo and relax in the gentle ocean breezes. This is a small complex of 20 condos -5 buildings of 4 units each sharing over 300 feet of private beach. There is a pool and spa too. A perfect place for couples and families alike. Phase 1 is NOT older -- it is only one year older than phase two condos !!!! Both built to Florida hurricane standards

Summary: Condo was well stocked with more than just starters of TP/paper towels/soaps. Plenty of towels and dishes. Extra sunscreen/bug spray if you forget yours. Multiple snorkel fins and masks, although there weren't any fins that properly fit my 8 year old. Life jackets. Lots of sand toys. Pool and hot tub were clean and not too busy. Very quiet and relaxing.Location: If you are planning to be on the West side of the island a lot you may want to think twice about booking here - it is a long drive and traffic can get bad with only one major road. The public beach right next to Kaibo was fenced off for construction, but you can walk to Starfish Point and a short drive to Rum Point beach. Can get boat trips from Kaibo dock right next to condo.Did not like: scratched/chipped non-stick cookware, bedskirts/pillows needed washing, condo was very damp/musty when we arrived which may have been due to previous renters. If you are looking for a 4 star hotel/pristine condition place this is not it. The grout on the tile floors/showers is no longer white; things have dings/dents/chips.
